The Thorp Jaycees recognized Michelle Halenka as the community’s outstanding member. Robbie Krzyzanowski had the honor of presenting the award during their banquet on November 4, 2006. Michelle was raised in Thorp and is an employee of Kerry Ingredients in Owen. Being a member of the Jaycees since 2002, Michelle has chaired and participated in many events. In addition to fundraising at the Thorp Catholic School where her daughters, Kayla and Madisyn, attend, she co-chaired the Thorp Relay for Life and the Outstanding Community Member Banquet. |
