Resolutions

Whereas, it has pleased the Grand Architect of the Universe to remove from our midst our late Brother, L.L. Ayers, and Whereas, It is but just that a fitting recognition of his many virtues should be had. Therefore it is resolved, by Neillsville Lodge No. 198, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, That while we bow with humble submission to the will of the Most High, we do not the less mourn for our Brother who has been taken away form us.

Resolved. That in the death of Brother L.L. Ayers this lodge laments the loss of a brother who was ever ready to proffer the hand of aid and the voice of sympathy to the needy and distressed of our Order. An active member of our Order whose utmost endeavors were exerted for its welfare and prosperity and a useful and honorable citizen.

Resolved. That the heartfelt sympathy of this Lodge be extended to his family in their affliction. Resolved. That these resolutions be spread upon the records of this Lodge and a copy transmitted to the family of our deceased brother, a copy to each paper in the city, one to the Granton News, and one to the Odd Fellows Friend of Milwaukee Wis.

Resolved also that our Charter be draped in mourning for a period of thirty days. J.B. Lowe, Wm. Free, George A Ludington
