Delivering Bags of Comfort to Harrington Family (2024)
Michelle Olszewski, ovarian cancer survivor and founder of Teal 2 Heal,
presented Marcia Gross, Harrington Benefit committee organizer, with a donation
check and a comfort bag. Teral 2 Heal organizes three fundraisers a year; with
proceeds going to the University of Madison research facility and comfort bags
to local cancer patients. The comfort bags include a pillow, hat, stuffed teddy
bear that can be heated or cooled and a few other items useful while Lexi
Harrington continues her treatments. “I heard about the benefit on the radio and
my niece saw a flyer on social media,” said Olszewski. “I just wanted to help
the family.”
