Messing, Ada (Marriage - Apr 1908)

At half past four o’clock on Easter Sunday in the Valley Hotel, Sidney, Mont., there was performed a very pretty wedding ceremony in the presence of over seventy-five guests, in which Miss Ada Messing, formerly of Sherwood, Clark Co., Wis., and Mr. Adolph Clement played the leading role with Rev. Edward Shaw of Minot, N.D., officiating.

The bride, since leaving her friends in Wis. three years ago, spent the greater part of the time in Oregon. She came to Montana last spring and took a homestead, and later found employment as cook in the Valley Hotel, where she proved a valuable assistant and a worthy friend to all. The groom is a carpenter by trade and is much though of by those who know him.

After the ceremony Mr. J.A. Nelson took them to their future home on Mrs. Clement’s claim, in his automobile.

Many and beautiful were the presents bestowed upon them, and all their friends unite in wishing them a happy and prosperous journey through life.
