Saupe, Martha (Marriage - 10 Jun 1909)

Mr. Frank Stannard and Miss Martha Saupe will be married this morning (Thursday) at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Saupe, Rev. Brandt officiating. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Stannard. He was born and brought up here, attended the city schools and the past year has been attending the Business College here. The bride is one of Neillsville, Clark County’s best young ladies. For several years she has been one of the force in the Times office and has by her faithfulness and competence made many friends and admirers.

The wedding was a quiet home affair, only the families of the young people being in attendance. They take the 11:30 the 11:30 train with the groom’s parents for Wenatchee, Wash. to these young folks who go west to make a home and become a part of a new and growing community, we join with their many friends here in wishing much happiness and joy.
