Morris, Thomas M. (23 Apr 1854 - 24 Mar 1910)

Thomas M. Morris, formerly well known here (Neillsville, Clark County), died at Fresno, Cal., March 24, 1910, of Bright’s Disease. He was born at Janesville, Wis., April 23, 1854. He came here in 1875 to work on the court house, being a mason by trade. He made this place his home when not employed elsewhere, his family remaining here. He leaves a wife and three children, the oldest son Claire being at Portersville, Cal. He was a man who read much on public questions. His old friends, among whom was the writer, who used to gather at the north side store during the winter of 1898-9, will all grieve to learn of his death.
