Lorenz, Otto (8 Mar 1886 - 12 Augl 1910)

Otto Lorenz died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Anna Lorenz in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), Friday, Aug. 12, 1910, after a lingering illness of several months. He was born in Neillsville March 8, 1886, and grew to manhood here. His kindness of heart, industry and honesty won for him the good will of everyone who knew him. All of his acquaintances had a good word for him, and his death just as he entered that part of life, where he could be most helpful to those about him, is indeed a sad event. He bore his suffering patiently and uncomplainingly, and died with Christian resignation.

He leaves to mourn his death, his mother, two brothers, John and Emil, and one sister, Bertha. His father, Michael Lorenz died about seventeen years ago. Three sisters died in childhood. The funeral was held Tuesday forenoon at the Catholic Church, Father Dorrenbach officiating.

Those from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. Rosa Lye, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mentzel and Herbert Mentzel and Herbert Mentzel of Grafton, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. John Hubing of Loyal.
