Davis, Lena J. (Marriage - 15 May 1913)

Mr. John Southard of this city and Miss Lena J. Davis of the town of Washburn, Clark County, were united in marriage last Thursday evening, May 15, 1913, at the home of the groom’s sister, Mrs. Chas. Rose on the north side, Rev. Prescott officiating. Norman Schroeder acted as best man and Miss Bessie Rose as bridesmaid. The groom is one of Neillsville’ finest young men. He is a graduate of our high school and a young man of excellent character. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Davis of the town of Washburn, and is a young lady most highly esteemed by all who know her.
