Taylor, J. Z. (26 Feb. 1852 - 3 May 1922)

J. Z. Taylor passed away at his home in Summa Addition on May 3, 1922, after a very short illness with flu-pneumonia. He was born in Indiana on February 26, 1852, his father was a civil war veteran. Left to mourn their loss are his wife and 4 children, all of this city. They are Mrs. Della Bryson and Lloyd, Dan and Ray Taylor, and a sister and two brothers in the state of Indiana. He came here about 15 years ago from Neillsville, Wis. For some time he was a member of the police force, and after that was head foreman for the North Coast Power Co. a long time, till his failing health and age forced him to retire.

He was a member of the Neillsville I. O. O. F. lodge and of the Mystic Workers of the World at Shortville, Wis.

The funeral was held at the Newell Undertaking parlors Saturday, afternoon under the charge of the Centralia I. O. O. F. lodge. --Centralia, (Wash.,) Daily Chronicle.
