Durst, Clara (Marriage - 21 June 1922)

Mr. William Meihack Jr. and Miss Clara Durst were united in marriage at 11 o’clock Wednesday forenoon, June 21, Rev. Reiff of Granton officiating. The wedding took place at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Durst in the town of Hewett, and only relatives and close friends were in attendance.

Miss Neoma Durst, a sister of the bride and Miss Hilda Meyer, a cousin were bridesmaids. The groom was attended by his two brothers, Werner and Albert Meihack. After the ceremony a sumptuous wedding dinner was served to the guests

The groom is the son of William Meihack Sr. of the town of Weston. He is looked upon as one of the finest young men of that community, honest, industrious and capable in every way. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Durst of the town of Hewett and is especially well qualified for her duties in the home, and has as well the social qualities and graces that make up a high standard of womanhood.

After a visit among relatives and friends at Marshfield, Oshkosh, Plymouth and Milwaukee, they will return to being housekeeping at the home of the groom’s father. We join in wishing this fine young couple the success in life they so well deserve.
