Osgood, Leroy B. (15 March 1841 - 29 Oct. 1922)

Leroy B. Osgood died of heart trouble at the Portland Sanitarium, Portland, Ore., Sunday, Oct. 29, 1922. He had been at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Carey until two days before his death. Mr. Osgood was born March 15, 1841, at St. Lawrence county, N. Y. He served three years in the Civil War. He then came to Wisconsin, where he resided until 1904, when he moved to Portland, Ore., where he has since resided until his death.

He leaves three sons and four daughters to mourn his loss. Elmer Osgood of Texas, Carl of Portland, Ore., Will of Oakland, Cal., Mrs. A. L. Snyder of Duluth, Minn., Mrs. Leonard Case of Baraboo, Wis., Mrs. Chas. Carey and Mrs. E. E. Hall, both of Portland, besides many friends.

He was a good husband, father, friend, and neighbor and will be missed from his accustomed place.
