Dietrich, Emma (18 SEP 1923)

The home of Mr. and Mrs. John Dietrich of the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis., was the scene of a quiet home wedding Tuesday evening, Sept. 18, 1923, when their daughter Miss Emma Dietrich and Mr. Walter Lautenbach were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, rev. Hasz of the Maple Works Lutheran Church performing the ceremony.

The groom was attended by Rollie Dietrich, the bride's brother, and Miss Hattie Lautenbach, the groom's sister was bridesmaid. Only the immediate relatives of the bride and groom were in attendance. The bride and bridesmaid were becomingly dressed in brown silk. After the ceremony a very fine four-course dinner was served.

The groom is the son of Mr. an Mrs. William Lautenbach of the town of Grant, where he was born and grew to manhood. He is an industrious thrifty young farmer and stands well in the community. The bride has lived practically all her life in the town of Grant, except the past year when she had a position in St. Paul. She is well fitted by her home training for taking charge of a new home of her own, and is possessed of fine womanly qualities that make her well liked by all who know her.

The young couple began housekeeping at once on the groom's farm in the town of Grant. This young couple begin their new life with abundant prospects for success and happiness, and the good wishes of a large circle of friends go with them, in which the Press most heartily joins.
