Banesch, Mary (Marriage - 28 Jan 1908)

Mr. Frank Bollech and Miss Mary Banesch, both former residents of town Holton, were married Thursday Jan. 28, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthonys Catholic church, Athens, Wis. Rev. Father Muehlenkamp tied the nuptial knot that binds for life.

The groom is a well-known young man of this vicinity and his bride is a very popular esteemable young lady. The couple were attended by John and Louis Ballech, brothers of the groom and Misses Mathilda Beil and Emma Hintscher, both of Athens. The bride was dressed in light blue brilliantine with wreath and veil and the groom wore the conventional black.

After the ceremony was over the merry party went to the home of the brides parents where an elegant dinner awaited them.

They received many beautiful presents, one from Father Muehlenkamp and his sister Margarete deserves special mention, it was a beautiful picture representing Jesus before Pilate.

The evening was spent in dancing and singing and when time came to go home everyone wished the happy couple a long and prosperous wedded life and all left saying, "So jung treffen wir uns nichtmehr zusammen."

They will make their future home at Athens.
