Wedding vows were exchanged Saturday, June 28, , at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, between Miss Mary Ellen weyer and Mr. David Allan Volovek.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Mike Weyer, route 2, Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Volovsek, route 2, Greenwood.

The parish choir sang and Mr. Weyer gave his daughter in marriage at a 12 o'clock noon ceremony at which the Very Rev. Norbert E. King, officiated.

The bride chose a full-skirted gown of chantilace with nylon and lace chapel train, and a forward headpiece of borelis crystals and alencon lace with bouffant veil of English Illusion.

Mrs. Shirley Lindner, Loyal, was the matron of honor; Misses Kathy and Susan Volovsek, Greenwood and Jane Weyer, Loyal, the bridesmaids.

The attendants were seen in floor length coat style gowns of yellow georgette over taffeta with venice lace, and matching forward headpieces with small bouffant veils. Each carried an arrangement of blue and white carnations.

Arthur Lindner, Loyal, was best man and LaVerne Volovsek, Madison, Edward Volovsek, Willard and Robert Dillenbeck, Greenwood, the groomsmen. Joe Weyer, Loyal and Steve Volovsek, Milwaukee, ushered the guests.

A reception was held at the parental Volovsek home, supper at the church hall and a dance that evening at the Silver dome Ballroom.

Mrs. Volovsek graduated from St Joseph's School of Nursing in 1969 and is presently a registered nurse in the obstetrics department of St. Joseph's Hospital.

Her husband, a 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School, is employed in the pulp industry in Greenwood.

After a wedding trip through the western states the couple will reside at Hilltop Terrace Apartments in Marshfield.
