Tauchen, Nancy Ann (27 August 1983)

The Rev. Samuel Robbins officiated at the nuptial ceremony August 27 for Miss Nancy Ann Tauchen and Brian Donald Severson, both of Madison. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Tauchen of Route 2, Dorchester, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Severson of Route 1, Columbus.

The bride was given in marriage by her father during the nuptials in Peace United Church of Christ, Dorchester. Ellen Schnultz was organist; Wendy Kamerling, soloist; and David Sage, guitarist.

The bride had a white gown of fabric and Chantilly lace designed with cathedral train, and a fingertip veil of illusion with Chantilly lace. in her cascade bouquet were peach rosebuds, peach carnations and baby's breath.

Mrs. Linda Mattison of Tomah was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Donna Tauchen of Madison, Miss Ann Winesburg, Eau Claire, and Miss Ann Severson, Middleton. They had shrimp-colored formals, rosebuds in their hair and bouquets of peach rosebuds and carnations with baby's breath.

John Yanny of Racine was best man. Groomsmen were Greg Severson of Wausau, Paul Seidenstricker of Madison and Gary Dynes, Columbus, and ushering were James Peissig, Wisconsin Rapids and Gerald Dietzel, Madison.

The reception, dinner and dance were at Dorchester Memorial Hall. After a wedding trip to Maine and New Hampshire, the Seversons will live at 6817 Winstone Drive, Madison.

The bride graduated in 1976 from Colby High School and in 1980 from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. His wife a 1975 graduate of Columbus High School, is a 1979 graduate of UW-Whitewater. Both are auditors with Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau.
