Thompson, Arthur (18 November 1892 - 1 December 1983)

Arthur Thompson, 91, Curtiss, died Thursday at an Abbotsford nursing home.

Mr. Thompson farmed in the town of Hoard from 1919 to 1958, when he moved to Curtiss. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Abbotsford, and the American Legion and Masonic Lodge at Owen. He was a veteran of World War I.

He was born November 18, 1892 in Curtiss. He was married to Alma Larson August 27, 1925, in Abbotsford. She died October 9, 1979.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Dorothy) Sorenson, Elm Grove, and Mrs. Douglas (Mildred) Graham, Joliet, Illinois; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held today at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Curtiss. The Rev. Jeffrey Johnson officiated and burial was in the Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery, Curtiss. Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, was in charge of arrangements.
