Sack, Daniel (15 MAR 1856 - 3 JUN 1928)

Daniel Sack departed this life Sunday, June 3, 1928, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emilie Bremer, in Chicago.

Deceased was born to Frederick and Regina Sack on March 15, 1856, near the City of Stettin, Province of Pommerania, Germany.

On April 17, 1882 he was married to Wilhelmina Stoerck, and on the 23rd day of the same month they came to America, locating in Chicago. Thirty-one years ago this June they came to Clark County, Wis., settling on a farm in Shortville. In 1907 he sold this and bought a farm on the Ridge Road. In 1918 he sold this place and bought a home on Willow St. in Neillsville.

Since the death of his wife on June 25, 1924, he has made his home with his daughters.

He was the father of five children, a son and a daughter, Emma (Mrs. Ernest Brown) preceding him in death.

On Tuesday afternoon, brief services were held at Hammann's Chapel in Chicago. The funeral was held on Thursday at 2:30 o'clock at Lowe's Funeral Home in this city, Rev. Lambright Conducting the services. Interment was made in the Neillsville Cemetery beside his wife.

Three daughters, Mrs. Helen Haling, Mrs. Emily Bremer and Mrs. Minnie Swan, together with two brothers, Gottfried and Wilhelm Sack, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, besides other relatives and friends sadly mourn his death.

The daughters and a niece, Mrs. Ed Molken from Chicago, and a nephew, Charles Graf, and family of Nekoosa, Wis., were here to attend the funeral.

Deceased was a charter member of the Deutscher Krieger and Geselligkeits Verein of Neillsville.
