Joseph Silvers whose home was five miles west of here, while sawing logs in Z. Sanford’s camp Wednesday, was struck on the head by a falling limb and instantly killed. Four men saw the manner of his death, but he was brought to this city where an inquest was held over his body. His funeral occurred yesterday forenoon from the Presbyterian church, Rev. W.T. Hendren officiating. Interment took place in the Greenwood cemetery. Deceased leaves a wife and two young children. Greenwood Gleaner (Greenwood, Wis.) 8-24-1900
