Wendt, Melvin (24 MAY 1922 - 13 Apr 1929)

Melvin Earl Wendt, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wendt of the town of York, Clark County, Wis., died on Saturday, April 13, 1929, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, following an operation for appendicitis. Melvin had reached the age of 6 years, 10 months and 20 days, and was a bright, handsome child, loved by all who knew him. He was the youngest child in the family and dearly loved by all its members. His death is indeed a sad experience in his home and the keenest sympathy is felt by the entire community for the family in their bereavement.

There are left to mourn his death, the parents, two brothers, Alvin and Frederick, and two sisters, Eva and Mary.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Congregational Church, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.
