Wink, Christ/Amelia (50th - 22 Apr 1922)

Mr. and Mrs. Christ Wink celebrated their Golden Wedding at the home of their son Albert April 22nd, 1922.

Mr. Wink was born in the town of Herman, Sheboygan Co., July 4, 1850. He has two sisters, Mrs. Koelzer and Mrs. Ketter, both of Kansas.

Mrs. Wink was born in Germany, Nov. 29th, 1843. She has one sister living, Mrs. Joe Meyer of Thorp, and two brothers, Robert Henke of Sheboygan and Albert Henke of Owen.

Christ Wink and Amelia Henke were united in marriage at St. Joseph's Church in the town of Herman, Sheboygan Co., April 22, 1872 and came to Thorp, Clark County, Wis. thirty-four years ago, and have raised a family of eight children, three of who are now dead, Bertha, Rosie and Peter. Their children who attended the golden wedding were Mrs. John Peters, Mrs. Peter Mullenbach, Joseph Wink, Albert Wink and Mrs. Hance Jacque. They also have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There were about sixty relatives and friends present. A most bountiful dinner and supper were served. All the guests went home wishing the couple many more happy years.
