GREENWOOD - George H. Hare, Sr., 87, of Greenwood died Aug. 2, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

No services will be held.

GREENWOOD - George Henry Hare Sr., 87, of Greenwood died Aug. 2, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

No services will be held. Cuddie Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

George was born Dec. 3, 1916, in Greenwood to Charles and Olive (Sischo) Hare. He served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years. He was married to Flora Mae Fair on June 8, 1945, at Loyal Methodist parsonage. George worked for Weyerhaeuser Door, retiring in 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Flora Hare of Greenwood; children, Cheryl (John) Boushack, Charles (Cherilyn) Hare and George Hare Jr., all of Greenwood; four grandchildren; brother, Merle "Bunny" (Lois) Hare, Greenwood; and sister, Elma Elmhurst, Indiana.
