Hixon Farmer Dies After Lingering Illness

Death, Tuesday afternoon at about five o'clock, claimed the life of Paul K. Paulsen, a resident of the town of Hixon. He had been a sufferer of cancer for many weeks, and his death brought to an end his suffering, which he had born during the entire weeks of his sickness.

Mr. Paulsen was a native of Denmark, coming to this country many years ago. For the past sixteen years he has resided on his farm one and one half miles west of the village of Withee. He was one of the prosperous farmers of that vicinity and will be missed by many.

At the time of his death he was sixty one years and eleven months of age and leaves to mourn his wife and four sons, all of whom were at home at the time of this death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon from the Danish Lutheran church at Withee, Rev. Petersen officiating, and burial will take place in the church cemetery.
