Lindow, Albert (01 May 1889 - 09 October 1983)

CHILI -- Albert Lindow, 94, of Chili died Sunday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Chili. The Rev. Frank Hinebaugh will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Helen Grimm will be the organist.

Pallbearers will be Stanley, Amos and Tony Riedel, Vernon and Marylin Lindow and Donald Gardner. Visitation will be at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

He was born My 1, 1889 in the Town of Fremont, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustav (Rosina Jansch) Lindow and received his education in schools there.

He married Irene Happe July 29, 1914 in the Old Evangelical United Brethren Church at Route 1, Chili. The Rev. O.A. Hillman officiated. The couple farmed in the Town of Fremont until retiring in 1960 when they moved to Chili.

A member of United Methodist Church, Mr. Lindow is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Lorna) Riedel of Granton; two sons, Lawrence Lindow of Owen and Milton Lindow of Chili; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, William G. Lindow of Chili.

He was predeceased by his wife, on June 5, 1981, three sisters and one brother.
