Teclaw, Vincent (17 JUN 1892 - 25 OCT 1929)

Mr. Vincent Teclaw died at the home of his father, Stanley Teclaw, in the town of Withee, Clark County, Wis., on Friday, Oct. 25, 1929, aged 37 years, 4 months and 8 days. Deceased had been in poor health for a number of years with tuberculosis. He was born in Chicago on June 17, 1892. In 1914 he enlisted in the U. S. Army and served in China and Honolulu, when his health failed and he was discharged as a disabled soldier in 1917.

On Nov. 17, 1918, he was united in marriage to Miss Marie Dobrzynski, who died in 1919, since which time he was employed for a time on a U. S. Navy boar as cook, and taken ill again, spent a few months in the soldiers' home in Milwaukee.

He leaves to mourn his aged father, Stanley Teclaw, three brothers, Michael and Edward of Thop and Joseph of Chicago, and four sisters, Teresa, Stella, Mrs. Michael Milewski of Thorp and Mrs. John Zdrzkowski of Chicago.

The funeral took place on Monday last from St. Hedwig's Church, Father F. A. Kulig officiating, interment following the services in the Church Cemetery, a firing squad of Legion members sounding taps at the grave.
