Mrs. William Cooper died at the home of her sister, Mrs. August Sasse in Merrillan Saturday morning, April 19, aged 33 years. Mrs. Cooper was a resident of the town of Pine Valley for many years. Later she and her husband moved to Neillsville. He died in 1914 and soon after she moved to Merrillan, living there with a sister, Mrs. Sprague till a few months ago, she went to live with the other sister, where she died.

Mrs. Cooper was an excellent practical nurse and followed that work in this locality for many years. She leaves an adopted son in Idaho.

Funeral services were held in Merrillan Monday and the body was brought here for burial, brief services being held at the cemetery, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.
