Mrs. Jos. Delong and Mrs. W. F. Presher are numbered with the sick. Miss Marion Stallard, of Fairchild, was a visitor with relatives here the last of the week. Carroll Clark came home from the Oshkosh normal the last of the week to spend the week vacation. Mrs. E. W. Schumacher and children returned Tuesday from a visit with her sister in Marshfield. Wm. Stanka went to Marshfield Monday to visit friends and look over some farms in that vicinity with a view of purchasing. Guy Miller returned from Fall Creek Sunday to attend school here during the spring term. C. H. Creviston has been quite sick with the grip this week and his substitute, Bert Frandenburg, has been on the mail route. Mr. and Mrs. Payson, of Chippewa Falls, spent last Snday with their son Operator F. J. Payson. Mr. Payson and his parents drove out in the town of Cleveland and spent the afternoon at the home of Geo. Schufer. Albert Molzhon went to the hospital at Rochester, Minn., Monday where he will have an operation on one of his ears. Mr. Molzhon has been troubled with a tumorous growth which has destroyed the hearing in the ear,. He submitted to an operation a few years ago, but did not receive permanent relief. It is hoped the operation will be successful this time.
