Daeke, Edgar (18 Jul 1889 - 16 Apr 1915)

Edgar Daeke, son of Mrs. Anna Daeke, living one mile south and one and one-half mile south and one and one-half miles west of this village (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), died last Friday after a ten weeks illness with pneumonia which developed into heart trouble shortly before his death.. He was 25 years, 8 months and 29 days old, and had lived his entire life on their farm southwest of here.

The funeral, conducted by Undertaker E. J. Fuchsgruber, was held Monday from the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, the Rev. F. H. Moecker officiating, and interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his untimely death, a mother, a grandmother, one brother and three sisters, besides a number of relatives and friends. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Blaschka of Wausau, and Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Johnson of Curtiss.
