(The micro-film of this obituary missed the left part of the obituary, so I have just paraphrased what I could read)

The news of the death of Mrs. Gilbert Marlow came as a shock to the people of the community (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), when it was learned of her passing away at St. Mary's Hospital at Duluth, where she had went last Friday to be operated upon for gall stones.

Mrs. Marlow was operated on Saturday morning and was expected to survive the operation successfully when an unexpected turn arose for worse, she passed away at 10:20 Tuesday night.

Deceased was born at St. Martin, Canada in 1856, and when nine years of age came to Fond du Lac where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Gilbert Marlow in Fond du Lac and in 1880 they moved to Dorchester and settled on a farm north of town, where she has since lived.

She is survived by her father, Gilbert LeClaire, her husband and six children, Louis, Gilbert and Milvi? Of this city; Mrs. Arthur Pre?? Of Westboro; Mrs. Albert ? of Elrose, Sask., Canada; Mrs. James McDonnell of Cloquet, Minn. Four brothers and ? sisters also mourn her loss. They are: Julius LeClaire of Dorchester, Tellis LeClaire of Black ?, Ont.; Joseph LeClaire of ?, Dell Leclaire of Minn.; Adeline Panger of Willison, ?; Mrs. Alex Duvall of Bellingham, Wash.; Mrs. Thomas Marlow and Mrs. John Neibah, both of Cloquet, Minn.

The funeral will take place at St. Louis Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Father Beyer. Burial will take place on Monday.

The funeral services for Mrs. Gilbert Marlow, who died at Duluth last week Tuesday after a successful operation for gallstones had been performed, but suffered a stroke of paralysis soon afterwards, were held last Saturday from St. Louis Catholic Church at 10 o'clock, Rev. Beyer officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. A. Panger of Williston, N.D., Mrs. T. Marlow of Cloquet, Minn., Mrs. D. Mayrand, also of Cloquet; Messrs. and Mesdames McDonald and A. Premeau of Westboro; Mr. L. Evans of Westboro; Messrs. and Mesdames N. Premeau, S. Marrion, P. Liberty, Bissen, E. Fountain and daughter and Mrs. Colons and G. LaBerge, all of Stetsonville; Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Olson, Mr. and Mrs. M. Kramer and Mrs. Pluff, all of Abbotsford; Mrs. C. Gerspiach of Marshfield.
