Fifty relatives were entertained the 4th at the Geo. Searls home.

Ralph Short and family, Mrs. A. Short, Mrs. W. E. Bell and son Bruce visited at Groves Sunday evening.

Ralph Shorts entertained a number of relatives and friends the 4th. W. E. Bell and family and Miss Opal Short were guests from Janesville.

Will Groves and family were dinner guests at Art O’dells Sunday.

Horace O’dell is helping Oscar Thomas put up hay.

Mrs. William Ottow, Mrs. William Groves, Mrs. Harold Ottow and Betty attended the Happy Hour club at Mrs. Leach’s Wednesday.

M. C. Thomas and family were Neillsville shoppers Saturday p.m.

The annual school meeting was held Monday evening. Irvin Stevens was re-elected clerk.

Ed Hagie went to Eau Claire Monday.

Mr and Mrs. Ole Larsen visited at Groves Wednesday eve.

Henry Krutsch and George Krehn are at camp with the guards.

Blueberry pickers are reaping a good harvest.

George Searls and family, John Kent and Mr. McIntyre visited at Wm. Groves Thursday eve.

Harold Ottow and family visited at Otto Schroeder’s Tuesday. Mrs. Ottow and Roy Keller spent the evening with Mrs. Groves.
