Lenz, Minnie (13 JUN 1868 - 9 JUN 1955)

Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Minnie Lenz, 68, who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Albrecht in the town of Hewett, Clark County. The Rev. John Jacklin, Granton, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Lenz, nee Dux, was born June 13, 1868 in Germany and came to the United States with her parents at the age of 2 years. The family located in the town of Seif where she attended rural schools. On March 17, 1903, she was married to Fred W. Lenz at Neillsville.

The couple located on a farm in the town of Weston and later moved to the town of Hewett where they purchased land adjoining that of a daughter. After the death of her husband on Jan. 22, 1955 Mrs. Lenz made her home with her daughter. She had been in ill health for the past three months.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Martha Albrecht, route 3, Neillsville; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Mata) Lang, Willard, and Mrs. Henry (Martha) Wasserberger, Neillsville; a half-sister, Mrs. Arthur (Edith) Schoengarth, Willard; a half-brother, Albert Menning, also of Willard, one brother, Emil Dux, Neillsville, and one grandchild, Lewis Albrecht.

Preceding her in death besides her husband were three sisters and one brother.
