Neuenfeldt, Mary D. (6 Feb. 1923 - 28 Dec. 2004)

ST. PAUL, Minn. -Mary D. Neuenfeldt, of St. Paul, Minn., formerly of Greenwood, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at O'Halloran and Murphy Funeral Home, 575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul.

Services will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Paul.

Mary D. Murphy was born Feb. 6, 1923. She married James Neuenfeldt on Nov. 22, 1945, and he predeceased her on Feb. 20, 1973. They lived in Greenwood until the early 1950s and then moved to Black River Falls. They moved to St. Paul in the late 1950s.

She is survived by six children, Mary Jo (Lawrence) Rossini, Karen Neuenfeldt, Kathryn (James) Faussne, Dorothy (Christopher) Hallen, Ann (Thomas) Jones and Bill (Robin) Neuenfeldt; nine grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Neuenfeldt, Greenwood.

Neuenfeldt, Mary D. - (Nee Murphy) Beloved Mother and Grandmother Age 81 of St. Paul, on December 28, 2004. Preceded in death by her husband James. Loving mother of Mary Jo (Larry) Rossini of Orangevale, Ca., and their children, Jim (Sara), Chris; Karen Neuenfeldt and her son, Joe (Katie); Kathy (James) Fausone, and their children, Tony (Christie), Christina (Jeff) Kraus; Dorothy ‘Deedo’ (Christopher) Hallen and their children, Heather (Gerry) Adams; Ann (Tom) Jones and their children, Caitlin and Daniel; Bill (Robing) and their children, James ‘BJ’ and Bob; sister, Catherine Pretti of New Jersey; many nieces and nephews, all of her dear friends at Uptown and Calix, Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 512 S. Albert St. @ Randolph Ave. Visitation 4-8 PM Sunday at the O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home, 575 S. Snelling Ave. St. Paul. 651- 698-0796 with a vigil service at 7 PM . Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
