Prell, John (2 APR 1868 - 17 NOV 1928)

John Prell was born April 2, 1868 in Jefferson County Wisconsin where he grew to manhood. He then came to Loyal living in this vicinity for a number of years. About 20 years ago he moved to Montana where he engaged in farming.

About two years ago he suffered accidental injuries from which he never fully recovered, being in ill health continuously thereafter. His illness became so serious that he was taken to a hospital in Glenn Dive, Montana where he was called from Time into Eternity on Saturday Nov. 17th. He attained the age of 60 years, 7 months and 15 days. During his early childhood he was baptized in the name of the Triune God, and later was confirmed in the Ev. Lutheran church.

He leaves deeply sorrowing brothers and sisters: Nick Prell of Milton and Chris Prell of Oshkosh; Mrs. Fromater of Janesville; Mrs. Baumgartner of Jefferson, Mrs. Palm of Loyal and Mrs. Wm. Schilling of Loyal. He also leaves other relatives and friends who mourn their loss.

Funeral services were held at the Wm. Schilling home Thursday afternoon at 1:30, the Rev. H. F. Leschensky officiating. Interment took place in the Dodgeville Cemetery.

May his body rest peacefully until the Glorious Resurrection morning. The Tribune joins with the friends of the bereaved in extending heartfelt sympathy.
