Fred Melchor came home last Friday afternoon and was on the sick list for a few days.

L. R. Zerbel, who has a position at the state university, Madison, was here to spend a couple of weeks vacation with the home folks.

John Doyle is threshing in this neighborhood. Frank Stallard was detained at home several days this week by illness.

Alonzo Ross, of Fairchild, is putting down a new well for john Lawrence.

Peter Frandenburg has been driving the cream route for Bert Markham this week.

Mrs. C. H. Russell has been ill with the grip the past week. She is now convalescing.

Henry Stallard has been at the Falls part of the week loading potatoes and onions for the F. J. Stallard Co.

It is report that Mr. Wohlfort, who makes his home with his son at Fairchild, was seriously injured by falling down stairs Tuesday.

Section foreman John Zingsheim today caused the arrest of an Austrian laborer working under him, on the charge of threatening his life with a knife and revolver. The case is before Judge Phillips - Elroy Tribune.
