A very large crowd attended the birthday party given at Ed Short's Friday p.m. for Mrs. Short and Mrs. Jesse Wilding. Mrs. J. Carter and Mrs. Geo. Bue were out from Neillsville.

Wm. Groves and family and Mrs. McMullen visited at Ralph Short's Monday eve.

Mr and Mrs. Robert Volz were Neillsville callers Thursday p.m.

R. C. McMullin of Richland Center called at the W. I. Groves home on Tuesday p.m. to see his mother Mrs. Flo. McMullin He was homeward bound from the northern woods and had a large buck with him.

Chas. Mackeprang sawed wood for Ed Short Friday p.m.

Wm. Groves and family and Mrs. McMullin visited at Wm. Ottow's on Wednesday eve.

Mr and Mrs. Ed. Schweinler of Lake Mills visited from Tuesday till Friday at the Wm. Ottow home. Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Schweinler of Neillsville visited at the Ottom home on Thursday evening.

Mr and Mrs. Geo. Albaugh and Lucille Wilding were dinner guests at Wm. Groves Sunday.

Horace O'dell, Geo. Volz and Irwin Krauser helped shingle Henry Seltrecht's barn.

The young people gave a party at the Volz home Friday eve. A good time was reported.

Mrs. Alfred Schultz helped her mother can meat the past week.

The Paul Kuhn, Geo. Albaugh and Ralph Short families did shopping in Neillsville Saturday p.m.

Mr and Mrs. Milbourne Galbreath gave a party Saturday eve.

Arnold Ebert and Ruth Belter were dinner guests at Wm. Ottow's Sunday.

Mr and Mrs. Wm. Ottow visited at Groves Sunday and Otto Schroeder's.

Mrs. Ottow helped Gladys Stevens can chicken Friday a.m.

We're all glad to hear Lynn Feutz is home and doing so nicely.

Mr and Mrs. Ole Larsen visited at Groves Saturday night.
