Wesenberg, Anna (19 JUN 1927)

Miss Anna Wesenberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wesenberg of Appleton, Wis., and Mr. Day Oehler, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Oehler of this village (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), were united in marriage at the Christ Lutheran Church at Abbotsford at one o'clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. Wibben officiating.

The bride wore a white crepe dress trimmed with white lace, her veil was arranged in the fan effect style, and she carried a bouquet of roses and carnations. The groom was attired in the conventional blue.

The bridesmaid, Nellie Oehler, sister of the groom, wore a pink taffeta dress and carried a bouquet of carnations. Edward Wesenberg, brother of the bride, acted as groomsman, wearing also a dark blue suit.

After the ceremony, they drove to Medford, where the wedding picture was taken, then back to the groom's home where a five o'clock supper was served. In the evening a dance was held in the granary for relatives and friends.

The out of town guests were: Mrs. Domish and son of Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. A. Lieske and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Wesenberg and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wesenberg, all of Appleton, Messrs. Edward and Emil Wesenberg of Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hill of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Mayfield of Abbotsford, and Mr. Leland Lincoln of Wausau.

The happy young couple will make their future home at Abbotsford where the groom has employment.
