Kauffman, Paul Edward (16 March 1948 - 5 March 2005)

UNITY, WIS. - Paul Edward Kauffman, 56, of Unity died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Curtiss Alliance Church in Curtiss.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Paul E. Kauffman

UNITY, WIS. - Paul Edward Kauffman, 56, Unity, Wisconsin, died Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Curtiss Alliance Church in Curtiss. Burial will be in Beaver Cemetery in the town of Beaver in Clark County.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, and again from 9:30 until time of services Tuesday at the church.

Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Paul was born March 16, 1948, in Ladysmith to Mark and Thelma (Miller) Kauffman. Paul and Kathleen Anderson were married in 1967. For the last 10 years, he was a log and pulp hauler in northern Wisconsin.

Paul is survived by his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Kauffman, Unity; his children, John (LeAnne) Kauffman, Pardeeville, Paula (Brian) Kobs, Colby, and Laura Kauffman, Baraboo; five grandchildren, Aric and Hannah Kobs, and Morgana, Ariana and Ewan Grant; his mother, Thelma Kauffman, Beloit; four sisters, Elaine (Burdette) Weirich, Gleason, Mary Lou (Paul) Byers, Beloit, Esther (Brent) Carter, Sheldon, and Stella Kauffman, Sarasota, Fla.; one brother Andrew (Karla) Kauffman, Sault St. Marie, Mich.; and one foster brother, Kenny Swartzenstraber, Ladysmith.
