Barbara J. Egstad Barbara Egstad, age 24, of Granton, Wis. died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, Wis.

Barbara Jean Egstad was born on April 10, 1974 in Neillsville, Wis., the daughter of Jerry and Sandy (Noah) Egstad. She atteded Neillsville and Granton schools and graduated from Granton High School in 1994.

After graduation she worked as a babysiter for a few families in her neighborhood. She loved to read and paint and to go dancing at the bowling alley, and she loved to go deer hunting with her family. Barb also enjoyed collecting unicorns, and she had a huge collection. She was well-liked by her family and friends and will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Sandy (Noah)Egstad of Granton; two sisters; Lisa (Jim)Bryan of Neillsville and Rebecca Egstad of Granton; four nieces and nephews: Jeffrey, Bridget, Katie, and Jimmy John Bryan, all of Neillsville; her God-Mother, Martha Krause of Granton; and her special friend, Stacy Aumann of Neillsville.

Funeral services were held a 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 8, 1999 at the Zion Lutheran Missouri Synod Church in Granton. Pastor Stewart Marshall officiated. Music was provided by Caroline Helm, organist.

Interment was in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation was from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Friday, at the church. Honorary casket bearer was Stacy Auman. Casket beareres are Jeff Bryan, Mike Bryan, Peter Emer, Kevin Hillert, Arnold Huth III, Ralph Joseph, and Russell Steinbach.

Memorials May be directed to the Marshfield Medical Research Foundation, Lupus Research, c/o Marshfield Clinic, 1000 N. Oak Ave., Marshfield, WI 54449. The Geshe Funeral Home assisted Barbara's family with arrangements.
