Ryan, Margaret (24 SEP 1929)

A pretty wedding took place at St. Balthasar’s Church on Tuesday morning at 9:00 September 24, when Miss Margaret Ryan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ryan of Loyal, became the bride of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Searvogel of Waupun. Rev. Father Joseph F. Stenz performed the ceremony.

The bride was attended by her sisters Gladys, who acted as bridesmaid and Isabelle who carried the veil. The bride was attired in a gown of white satin with a wreath and veil, and carried a bouquet of pink and purple asters and fern leaves. The bridesmaid wore a dress of pink crepe and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers.

The groom was attended by Charles Ryan, brother of the bride. Both wore dark blue suits.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, north of Loyal, for a few friends and relatives.

Mrs. Searvogel is well and favorably known here, having lived around Loyal for the past nine years. She is a young lady of pleasing personality and well liked by all who know her. She is a graduate of the local Parochial high school. Mr. Searvogel is an industrious young man and is employed at Marquette, Wis., where the young couple will make their home after Nov. 1st.

The many friends and acquaintances of the bride extend heartiest Congratulations to the newlyweds.
