RICHMOND - Leland E. "Lee" Anderson, 75, of Richmond, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.

He was born June 13, 1929, in Withee, Wis., to Ed and Dolly (Anderson) Anderson. On May 27, 1961, he married Barbara McGregor in Woodstock.

He was a service maintenance man for Culligan for more than 21 years. He also worked as a service person and landscape technician for Ciolfi Gardens in Twin Lakes for 20 years. He was an Army veteran of Korea, serving from December 1950 to December 1952. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richmond, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a member of McHenry Moose Lodge 691 since 1965, and a Legion of the Moose member since 1975. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pam Anderson of Wonder Lake and Colleen (Scott) *Freitag of Hebron; two sons, Jeffrey (Dianne) Anderson and Scott (Donna) Anderson, both of McHenry; eight grandchildren, Tiffany (Chad) Scheer, Chris Gates, Ricky, Joey, Tyler and Ashley Anderson, Kristi Anderson and Rachael *Freitaag; a sister, Lillian Warnke of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; a brother, Harvey (Velda) Anderson of Withee, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Muirel, Vivian, June, Beatrice and Elaine; and four brothers, Roy, Byron, Howard and Roger Anderson. The visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home, 10011 Main St., Richmond. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richmond. The Rev. Rodel Peji will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery in Richmond.
