Bible Records

I searched and searched the Internet for a site that would list the names that I found handwritten in this Bible...and lo and behold, I came across your site!  I actually have in my possession the Covey Family Bible with the names and birthdates of these children!!!  It even has a clipping of baby hair between 2 of the pages!

By any chance, do you have a way of contacting any surviving descendants of this family?

Below is what is legible of handwritten names and dates on the blank leaves of the Bible, front and back. (Words in brackets are my own.).  Angela Arbogast

[PARENTS]:  James Covey (b. 4-6-1814)              Mariah Covey (b.1817; d.12-24-1846).

[CHILDREN]:

Charles M. Covey (b. 4-30-1838)

Amy Elizabeth Covey (b. 7-7-1841)

William James Covey (b. 9-25-1843)   *I think it says 25...but not positive about the "5".

Lois* Mariah Covey (b. 5-28-1845)

*The article says "Louis," but that was definitely wrong, because in lighter pencil, further down, the name "Lois M. Smith" is recorded with the same birthdate, so this was a female who married a man whose first name I can't read, but the last name is Smith and his birth date is 7-23-1833.

Also, the article at the above website is missing "Amy." Perhaps she died at a young age.

Then, with James's 2nd wife, Cornelia Covey (b. 11-9?-1822), he had these 7 children listed in the Bible:

 Albert Luther Covey (b. 2-14-1848)

Lory* Cornelia Covey (b. 10-14-1850)  *The article says "Laura".

Melviny* Covey (b. 12-30-1853)  *The article says "Melvina"

Saryan* Covey (b. 4-17-1855) *The article says "Sarah"

John M. Covey (b. 9-26-1857)

Joseph C. Covey (b. 1-7-1860*)  *The article says he was born in 1862, but it shows him being 4 years older than Alvin, so the Bible must be correct with the date of 1860.)

Alvin Covey (b. 1-11-1864)
