Sternitzky, Vera (Marriage - 15 Dec. 1933)

Miss Vera Sternitzky, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Sternitzky, Lynn, was married Dec. 15, at 2:30 p.m. at Fred Wesenberg, son of Mrs. Della Wesenberg, Neillsville, Rev. Arthur Laesch, of the Maple Works church officiating. The church was decorated in blue and white with roses, chrysanthemums, carnations and sweet peas. Two hundred friends and relatives witnessed the ceremony.

Mendelssohn’s wedding march was played by Mrs. Laesch. The maid of honor was Mrs. Violet Wesenberg, sister of the bride. Miss Dorothy Litner, Loyal, was bridesmaid. The bride was given away by her father. Wesley Wesenberg, Neillsville, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Oscar Sternitzky, Jr., also attended the groom.

The bride was beautifully attired in white silk flat crepe and carried bouquets of red and white carnations. The bridesmaids wore blue silk flat crepe and carried yellow and white chrysanthemums.

A reception and banquet were held at the home of the bride’s parents, 225 guests being present. The home was prettily decorated in blue and white streamers and the waitresses wore blue head bands. The wedding cake was baked by Mrs. Wesley Wesenberg and Mrs. Louis Sternitzky.

The bride is a well known young lady of the Town of Lynn, having attended the Poplar Grove School which she finished in 1925. She has been employed in house work for the Walter Heinz family. The groom has been employed at concrete work by Hugh Selves. Both the bride and groom are popular and have a host of friends who join in extending their congratulations and good wishes for a long and happy married life. They will make their home in Neillsville.

**Wesenberg was also spelled Wessenberg in the original write up.
