Bracht, Albertine (SEP 1816 - 2 Sep 1881)

Died, at the residence of her son, Richard Bracht, two miles southeast of this village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Friday, the 2nd inst., Albertine Dearnfeldt, relict of the late F. M. Bracht, in the 65th year of age.

Deceased was born in the city of Bernstein, Prussia, in September 1816, where she was united in matrimony with Mr. F. M. Bracht, with whom she immigrated to this country in 1853, and in 1854 settled in the town of Sun Prairie, Dane Co., where she resided until last October when she came with her son to this place. About ten years ago her husband departed this life, and since that time she has made her home with her son. Deceased has always enjoyed good health up to about six weeks ago when she was taken with the illness that caused her death. She leaves a son and two daughters to mourn her loss.
