Nickel, Daniel F. (2 Dec 1895 - 15 June 1969)

Funeral services for Daniel F. Nickel, age 73, who died June 15, 1969, were held last Thursday from the Zion Lutheran church of Granton with the Rev. Roland Roehrs officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Clarence Anderegg, Donald Nickel, William H Nickel, Robert Krainz, Ronald Garbisch and Robert Reidel.

"Rock of Ages" and "The Lord is My Shepherd" were sung by Otto Sternitzky, William Dankemyer and Don Bartsch, accompanied by Mrs. Leland Garbisch.

Those from out of town attending included: Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Riedel and Sharron Riedel of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Riedel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kegler, Mrs. Alice Papke of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Anderegg of Nekoosa; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Garbisch and Darleen, Mrs. Kathleen Dobek, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Garbisch and Jerry Garbisch of Milwaukee; Miss Frances Polzin and Herman Polzin of Browntown, MN; Mr. and Mrs. Archie Thomas, Mrs. Grace Carr and Shirley Carr of Reedsburg; Miss Barbra Kegler and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kegler of Arpin; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Kurth of Butler; Mrs. Paul Grass of Racine; Miss Lucille Meyer, Lawrence Bibow and Mr. and Mrs. William Kegler of Waterloo; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Meyer of Columbus; Mrs. Ted Meyer of Watertown; Mr. and Mrs. Louie Tendler of Wauwatosa and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Krainz of Willard.
