Lynch, Eunice (1858 - 6 Jan. 1934)

Mrs. J. W. Lynch, formerly a resident of North Hewett Street, died Jan. 6 at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ella Poate, in St. Paul where she has been living since the death of her husband April 14, 1933.

Mrs. Lynch was born Eunice Hurlburt in Essex county, New York, in 1858. She was married to Charles Stannard in 1877 at Neillsville, one son, Dan D. Stannard, being born to this union. Charles Stannard died in 1882. In 1887 she was married to J. W. Lynch, a daughter, Verna, now Mrs. Richard Salter of Colby, being born to them, who with Mr. Stannard and two sisters, Mrs. Salome Grey of Marshfield, and Mrs. Ella Poate and a brother Will Hurlburt, Neillsville, survive. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynch lived in Neillsville until 1927 when they moved to Colby to be near their daughter.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Lowe Funeral Home with Rev. G. W. Longenecker conducting the rites.
