Hankey, Lena Katherine (28 Dec. 1833 - 20 April 1934)

Mrs. Fred Hankey passed away at her home in Lynn Friday evening at 7:30, April 20.

She was born in Brillion, Wis., Dec. 28, 1883. Her maiden name was Lena Katherine Keuer. She was married to Fred Hankey April 18, 1903 and settled on a farm near here where they lived until about 21 years ago when they moved to Lynn. Mrs. Hankey was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband and four children: Clara, Mrs. Fred Bratsch, Mrs. Martha Ure, Elmer and Fred Jr., all of whom live near Lynn. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Tom Brick of Brillion and one brother Ernest Keuer of Lynn. Funeral will be held at Granton Lutheran Church with burial at the church cemetery, the Rev. Laesch officiating. Flower carriers will be Marion Hankey, Arline Keuer, Margaret Batsch and Stanley Ure. Pallbearers are Leslie and Herbert Kuier, Carl Hankey, Leo and William Dankemyer and Mr. Brick, all nephews.
