John Strosahl, Oscar Isenberger and O. G. Johnson of Stanley attended the Farm Field Day at Marshfield Thursday.

Mrs. G. W. Warden and son Ben, of Eau Claire called at the Warden and Isenberger homes Wednesday evening. Miss Helen Warden returned home with them, accompanied by Betty Jean Isenberger, who will visit with them for a week.

The Town of Thorp 4-H Clubs namely, The Stars Club, The Up and At ‘Em, and Peterson 4-H, are sponsoring a Parent’s Night, on Aug. 13, to be held at the Roger Creek school. Exhibits of their years work will be made, speakers will be on the program as well as various stunts. All parents and anyone interested in 4-H club work are urged to attend.

Mrs. Martha Warden and daughters visited Mrs. Julia Holverson at Gilman, Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Wm. Sorenson entertained a company of little folks at her home Sunday afternoon in honor of her daughter, Anna Mare’s birthday.

Mrs. Fred Sorenson attended the funeral of her sister Mrs. Wallace Leverhagen, at Cadott, Saturday afternoon.

John Schara and family of Boyd, spent Sunday at Email Schara’s.

Evelyn Boardman held the lucky number which drew the quilt at the Lutheran Aid social Saturday night.

Harvey Thompson spent Saturday night with relatives at Boyd.

Mrs. Martin Western and Mrs. O. Isenberger helped cooked for threshers at Ole Holverson’s Monday.
