Schaefer, Mr./Mrs. Wm. (Golden - 1934)

Surrounded by their three children and other relatives who made a surprise visit upon them, Mr. and Mrs. William Schaefer, 154 North Grand Avenue, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday. William Schaefer was born in Plymouth, Wis., Nov. 1m, 1860 and Mrs. Schaefer at Sheboygan, Jan. 22 1866. They were married at Sheboygan, Dec. 4, 1884 at Trinity church by Rev. Mr. Herzer. They lived on a farm near Glenbeulah until 1910 they moved to a farm near Neillsville where they lived until 1924 when they sold out and moved to their present address in this city.

Their children are Henry Schaefer, and Mrs. Bruno Stange, Plymouth, and Edwin Schaefer of Chetek. There are seven grandchildren. Others who were here for the event are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Johnson and sons, Harold, Waldo; Mr. and Mrs. William Hoth, Sheboygan; and George Schaefer, Plymouth.
