FRANTZ FAMILY GATHERING

There was a happy family gathering at the C. G. Frantz home Sunday in honor of MR. Frantz, who on Tuesday observed his 78th birthday. The folks fitted up a nicely decorated Christmas tree in his honor and showered him and his good wife with a nice lot of gifts. A sumptuous dinner was served that was a joyous occasion. Besides the Robert and Ben Frantz families, Attorney and Mrs. George. F. Frantz and son Richard, and Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Roethe of Fenimore were present. MR. Frantz is one of Neillsville’s pioneer settlers and enjoying remarkably good health. His magnificent physique and long years of active outdoor work have kept him young and physically fit. The many friends of Mrs. Frantz will learn with pleasure that she is very much improved and able to again do most of her housework.

Tuesday night Mr. Frantz’s three brothers, Henry, George and Rudolph and their respective families got up a surprise party on Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Frantz. They had a fine oyster supper and spent the evening in recounting early days and the changes that came since their boyhood.
