I am glad to have finally found at least some information re my great Grandfather and Grandmother, other than word of mouth and growing up at their Graves in Monroe County (LaGrange Cemetery).

You have verified my research at the ripe old age of 13 that they did originate in England and Scotland.

It was my understanding from a Tomah WI newspaper article my great grandmother had squirreled away, and has been subsequently lost, that Elisha had a twin Brother named Elijah...I wonder if that is not Eliza and something was lost in the translation over the last century plus?

Mary Orr Horel, Elisha Horel, (my Great Great Grandparents) Wma A Horel (My Great Grandfather who died of appendicitis when my Grandmother was about 10 years old) are all buried in the LaGrange Cenmetery between the family farms near Warrens Mills and Tomah, WI

I am trying to research the Horels, but they seem to have scattered to the wind well before my birth in 1956!

Thanks! Nick
