Cordes, Lizzie (? - 14 Apr 1931)
Mrs. Lizzie Cordes, a former resident of the village, died Tuesday evening, April 14, 1931, at Milwaukee following a stroke of paralysis.
Following a stroke several years before Mrs. Cordes had been a continual sufferer. On Sunday, April 12th, she suffered a severe stroke, which resulted in her death.
Funeral services were held on Friday, interment following in a Milwaukee cemetery by the side of her husband and a son who had preceded her many years ago.
She is survived by one son, Harry of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., and a daughter.
Mrs. Harry Cordes and daughter, Bernice, returned Monday evening from Milwaukee, where they had attended funeral services there.
